Sour Cream Streusel Coffee Cake
A family favorite , Sweet Time sour cream streusel coffee cake is hard to stop eating! I started making coffee cake years ago, trying out various recipes in search for the perfect coffee cake. We had many a taste test, with many eager taste testers.
This very moist, dense, cake has a sweet and salty combination of flavors. It is not overly sweet, but the buttery, brown sugar cinnamon flavor is so intense, it makes one salivate when mentioned.
The mini loaves are great for party favors, place settings with customized labels, or give aways. We sell them year round at our events. The mini loaves are easy to eat. Just peel away the baking paper and dig right in! The mini loaves are easy to cut into mini slices, if you are watching calories….eating one small piece a day. We also make the cakes in large loaves, used for any type of catering tray, cut into bite sized pieces. Since the brown sugar cinnamon streusel is swirled throughout the cake, you get filling in each bite.
Our loaves freeze well, and if you forget to defrost, they're microwavable. You can freeze and thaw when ready to eat. The loaves will be incredibly moist and delicious!
